Volunteer- on call

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and motivated volunteers to support our humanitarian operations during the Qurbani 2026 project implementation, which takes place during the Eid Al-Adha holiday. Volunteers will play a key role in the distribution of Qurbani meat packs to vulnerable communities across Lebanon during this critical festive period.

In addition, shortlisted candidates may be contacted on an on-call basis to support emergency response activities throughout the year. This is not a fixed position; engagement will depend on operational needs, timing, and the volunteer’s availability and location.

Key Responsibilities

Qurbani Distribution Activities (During Eid Al-Adha):

• Support at the signature station during the distributions across different locations in Lebanon
• Assist in preparing beneficiary distribution lists and updating databases (including data cleaning)
• Conduct beneficiary assessments and ensure accurate data collection
• Support crowd management to ensure safe, dignified, and organized distributions

MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Activities:

• Monitor field distributions and submit MEAL reports
• Collect and enter accurate data (including phone-based data collection) using Excel
• Support additional MEAL-related tasks as required

Additional Support (On-Call – Emergency Response):

• Assist in emergency aid distributions when activated
• Support administrative and coordination tasks when needed
• Assist media teams in documenting activities (photos, videos, field coverage)
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure smooth implementation

This job description may change based on the situation in the field. All volunteers are expected to show high level of flexibility in order to respond to the ever-evolving situation. Furthermore, he/she can be required to perform other related duties as identified by his/her supervisors.
