Sales Strategies – ScaleSmart Program

Context & Background

 

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. 

 

The ScaleSmart program aims to support pre-seed or seed startups working in different sectors to scale up by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to plan a solid fundraising path, matching them with investors and investment opportunities, and improving their chances of successfully raising funds.

 

OBJECTIVES

 

  • Equip a maximum of 4 startups with the knowledge and skills to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Provide customized guidance through one-on-one clinics to address specific sales challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist startups in optimizing their sales processes, from market identification to closing deals.
  • Foster a data-driven approach to sales decision-making and performance improvement.

 

Scope of work

 

The ScaleSmart Program seeks a Sales Strategy Expert to deliver the following requirements:

  • Provide one-on-one sales strategies clinics tailored to the needs of each startup, with a focus on addressing individual sales challenges and refining sales strategies.
  • Assist startups in setting revenue targets, devising pricing strategies, and mapping customer journey maps.
  • Offer guidance on data-driven decision-making and performance tracking to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Answering participants’ questions and providing actionable feedback.
  • Conduct pre-engagement and post-engagement briefings with the Berytech team to align objectives and assess outcomes.

 

expected Deliverables

 

  • Provide a minimum of 6 one-on-one clinics to the startups, with a distribution of hours as agreed upon.
  • Ensure startups develop sales strategies, structure sales funnels, set revenue targets, devise pricing strategies, and map customer journey maps.
  • Submit a written report to the Berytech team outlining the progress and status of each startup, including recommendations for further improvement.

 

Qualifications

 

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Consultant, Trainer, or similar role with strong Sales Strategies knowledge  
  • Understanding of data-driven sales techniques and metrics
  • Consulting, advisory, and training experience for similar programs at incubators/accelerators  
  • Fluent in English and Arabic 
  • Availability to commit to the program timeline and deliverables
