Project Officer - Bekaa Area

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee implementation of multi-sector project activities, including CVA/MPCA
  • Ensure integration of humanitarian-development nexus, DRR, and resilience approaches across all interventions
  • Design and manage CVA cycles, including targeting methodology, validation of beneficiary lists, and oversight of distributions and PDM
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements, SOPs, and organizational policies
  • Lead coordination with local authorities, partners, and humanitarian/development actors
  • Supervise and support Project Assistants and field teams, ensuring clarity of roles and quality of implementation
  • Monitor project progress against plans, identify risks, and adapt implementation as needed
  • Ensure effective accountability to affected populations (AAP), safeguarding, and feedback/complaints mechanisms
  • Lead reporting and documentation, including narrative and quantitative reports
  • Ensure proper data management, quality control, and use of data for decision-making
  • Coordinate with internal departments (MEAL, logistics, finance, HR) to ensure smooth project implementation
  • Conduct regular field monitoring visits and provide technical guidance to the team

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Public Health, Business, Agriculture, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in humanitarian and/or development programming, including cash assistance (CVA/MPCA)
• Demonstrated experience in multi-sector interventions
• Strong knowledge of CVA, including targeting methodologies, distribution modalities, and post-distribution monitoring
• Solid understanding of humanitarian-development nexus, DRR, and resilience programming
• Strong knowledge of protection mainstreaming principles, including CP, GBV, PSEA, and AAP
• Proven experience in project coordination, team supervision, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), data analysis, and report writing
