1 – Overview:
Amel Association International (Amel) is a Lebanese and non-sectarian NGO created in 1979. Amel works through 30 centers, 6 mobile medical units, 2 mobile education units and 1 protection unit, and for more than 40 years has supported the poorest regions of Lebanon, from Beirut and its South Suburbs to Mount Lebanon, Bekaa and South Lebanon. Amel offers accessible services for all in the following fields: food security, health, education, protection, child protection, gender-based violence, livelihood, promotion and protection of human rights, rural development
2 – Scope of work:
Amel is looking for Psychologist(s) which are able to provide the following:
Consultancy objectives:
To provide Amel’s Association Frontliners group staff care sessions during the current period of stress (expected group session on a bi weekly basis for each PHCC)
To provide individual psychosocial support sessions to the staff in need.
To come up with tailored key messages about self-care during the times of conflict for the frontline workers.
To provide a monthly report with recommendations to mitigate the current psychosocial needs at level of the staff well-being, while maintaining strict professional standards, including standards of confidentiality.
Staff care consultants’ responsibilities:
To conduct participatory assessments (FGDs, KIIs, or one on one meetings, as relevant) to be able to understand the current mental health needs among the staff.
To provide maximum two pages report including the summarized and categorized result of those participatory needs assessment exercise.
To prepare the methodology for the group and/or individual sessions
To provide the sessions based on an agreed schedule with the focal points
To provide a final report including recommendations.
DELIVERABLES:
Frontliners ’MH needs assessment report
The proposed methodology for the sessions
End of project report with recommendations to mitigate the current psychosocial needs at level of the staff well-being while maintaining standards of confidentiality
Note:
The selected supplier must be responsible for Providing the required services within the required period.
Amel reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of Sessions.
3 – The quotation must include:
The number of the registration in the ministry of finance (if existing)
VAT
Prices in USD
Delivery period
Validity of the Quotation
4 – Required Documents:

A signed and stamped quotation.
The technical and methodological approach for the staff care consultancy including the possibility to have the sessions
Certificate of the registration in the ministry of finance (الشهاد المالية). and all related legal papers including owner ID.
