ABOUT INJAZ LEBANON

INJAZ Lebanon is a non-profit organization, an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. It is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region. INJAZ Lebanon delivers programs in partnership with the business sector, focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy.

ABOUT GIL

The GIL 2026-2028 program is designed to empower youth through a structured entrepreneurial journey. From sparking initial interest in social innovation to providing full incubation for market-ready startups, the program bridges the gap between raw ideas and sustainable businesses. The project operates across multiple locations, including Tripoli, Akkar, and Bekaa.

Overview

INJAZ Lebanon is seeking a dynamic and experienced GIL Camp Trainer to facilitate a 5-day intensive "Intro to Entrepreneurship" workshop. The trainer will guide youth aged 15–18 through the foundational stages of ideation, problem-solving, and business modeling. The goal is to foster an entrepreneurial mindset while helping participants develop viable social or environmental business concepts.

Scope of Work

The GIL Camp Trainer is tasked with the following responsibilities:

A. Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Curriculum Execution: Conduct the 5-day GIL workshop series, prioritizing Entrepreneurial Mindset, Problem Analysis, LBMC, and Pitching techniques.
  • Interactive Learning: Lead youth through hands-on exercises like Skills Mapping, Problem Tree creation, and Stakeholder Analysis.
  • Thematic Guidance: Instruct participants on Green and Social Entrepreneurship, Wellbeing, Edutainment, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

B. Classroom Management & Safeguarding

  • Environment: Maintain a secure and inclusive learning atmosphere adhering to PSEA standards and INJAZ safeguarding protocols.
  • Team Building: Facilitate the formation of groups comprising roughly four members and assist in defining their unique identities.

Detailed Operational Workflow & Timeline

Phase 1: Pre-Training Preparation

  • Curriculum Review: Master the camp structure and prepare all instructional materials and business templates. (Prepared by INJAZ Lebanon)

Phase 2: GIL Camp Execution (5-Day Agenda)

 

  • Day 1 (Mindset): Icebreakers, protection training, and identifying community issues aligned with global sustainability goals.
  • Day 2 (Problem Analysis): Innovation workshops focusing on stakeholder mapping, brainstorming, and root cause analysis.
  • Day 3 (Business Modeling): Simulation of business operations and a guided deep dive into all Lean Model Canvas components.
  • Day 4 (Pitching): Presentation coaching, final script refinement, and facilitating the formal team pitch sessions.
  • Day 5 (Final Scoring): scoring of pitching teams based on set criteria.

Phase 3: Post-Camp Reporting

  • Evaluation: Assess final group outcomes and review participant feedback from the sessions.
  • Final Handover: Delivery of a comprehensive technical package to the Project Coordinator, including reports and success stories.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following:

  • Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in training youth on Lean Startup frameworks or enterprise development.
  • Knowledge: Strong grasp of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the local business landscape.
  • Soft Skills: Strong storytelling and motivational capacity to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Technical Literacy: Competence in utilizing digital tools, reporting platforms, and educational media.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must submit the following documents:

1. Updated CV

  • Highlighting relevant experience

2. Technical Proposal (Brief)

  • Methods for engaging participants.
  • Previous experience with similar trainings, showing the field of expertise, soft skills, knowledge and technical literacy.

3. Quotation

  • The rate per training hour, inclusive of all costs (preparation, materials, transportation, etc.).
  • Total estimated cost based on 5 days × 3 hours per day.
