Finance & Accounting Officer

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual budget and financial projections.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the quality and coherence of financial and MIS data
• Analyze financial performance, liquidity, and key ratios
• Analyze loan portfolio performance and risk indicators (disbursements, outstanding portfolio, arrears, PAR)
• Extract and interpret MIS and accounting data into clear summaries and dashboards
• Support cash-flow monitoring, forecasting, and risk tracking
• Identify financial or portfolio risks and propose corrective actions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial and MIS controls
• Lead the preparation and coordination of external audits and donor financial reviews.
• Maintain compliance with NSSF, and MoF regulations.

KPI’s

• 100% of monthly reports submitted by the 10th of each month.
• Monitoring the income /expenses progress and reporting on monthly basis
• Periodic financial and portfolio analysis
• Dashboards and summary tables
• Donor-compliant financial and MIS reports
• Decision-support inputs for management
