Project Background
Children in crisis-affected contexts continue to face significant barriers to accessing safe, inclusive, and quality education due to displacement, economic hardship, and repeated learning interruptions. These challenges have led to learning gaps, increased risks of school dropout, and heightened psychosocial distress, particularly among vulnerable children with limited access to learning materials, supportive environments, and adequately trained educators.
SATR سطر (Safe Access to Resilient Learning) aims to ensure the continuity and quality of education for vulnerable children through an integrated approach that combines academic support, psychosocial well-being, and community engagement. The project focuses on strengthening literacy and numeracy skills, supporting children at risk of dropping out, building teachers’ capacities through inclusive and crisis-sensitive pedagogy, and addressing access barriers through education kits, transportation, and awareness activities. By fostering safe, supportive, and child-centered learning environments, SATR contributes to improved learning outcomes, well-being, and social cohesion in crisis-affected communities.
