I. About Developmental Action without Borders, Naba'a:
Developmental Action without Borders - Naba’a, is a Lebanese NGO operational since 2001. Registered under the Ministry of Interior (no. 104/AD), Naba’a is dedicated to serving all marginalized communities in Lebanon, especially children, without distinction of nationality, color, race, or religion. This includes communities within camps and gatherings in Lebanon, as well as local Lebanese communities.

II. Nabaa's Employment Screening and Protection Protocol:
Developmental Action without Borders, Naba’a, does not employ individuals who are married to children (persons under 18). Naba’a enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority, and discrimination. All prospective candidates must undergo thorough reference and background checks which will mainly verify employment history, professional performance, and adherence to the aforementioned policies. Furthermore, the selected candidates must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening or an equivalent criminal record check as a condition of employment.
I. Key Responsibilities of Outreach Worker:
- Beneficiary Identification and Community Engagement
- Conduct regular field visits to identify eligible youth beneficiaries based on approved project selection criteria.
- Raise community awareness about the project’s objectives, services, and eligibility criteria.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders, community leaders, and partners to promote the project and attract potential beneficiaries.
- Identify and liaise with employers who have job vacancies to support youth employment opportunities after completion of vocational training.
- Maintain positive relationships with community representatives to enhance outreach effectiveness.
- Data Entry and Follow-Up
- Collect and verify required documentation from youth enrolled in the vocational training program.
- Update beneficiary data accurately and in a timely manner in coordination with the Registration Officer.
- Complete required questionnaires and forms professionally, accurately, and on schedule.
- Prepare and submit regular updates and reports to supervisors, highlighting progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of beneficiary records.
- Conduct Life Skills Sessions
- Facilitate life skills sessions for youth using approved training materials and methodologies, ensuring sessions are participatory, inclusive, and aligned with project objectives.
4. Compliance and Professional Conduct
- Adhere to Nabaa’s Code of Conduct, PSEAH, Child Protection, Anti-corruption, complaint mechanism and other policies.
5. Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Project Coordinator or center supervisor as required by program needs.
II. Minimum Qualifications:
1. Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or a related field.
2. Professional Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the humanitarian, development, or livelihoods sector, particularly in field-based activities.
- Demonstrated experience in outreach, community mobilization, and engagement with vulnerable youth.
- Experience supporting vocational training, employability, livelihoods, or youth empowerment programs.
- Experience in conducting awareness sessions, beneficiary follow-up, and participant referrals is an asset.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High level of professionalism and community sensitivity.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet use.
- Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
