GBV Volunteer

Blue Mission Organization (BMO) is a community-based, independent Lebanese NGO committed to advancing human dignity through holistic, rights-based protection, education, health, and psychosocial support services for crises-affected children, youth, and families across Lebanon. BMO is seeking qualified and committed GBV Volunteers to support the implementation of a GBV prevention and response emergency project in South Lebanon, implemented in partnership with Terre des Hommes (TDH) and funded by UNICEF.The GBV Volunteer will support the implementation of community-based psychosocial support, life-skills, and awareness activities targeting women, girls, and caregivers affected by displacement and conflict. The role focuses on promoting dignity, emotional well-being, resilience, positive coping mechanisms, social inclusion, and safe access to available protection services through structured and culturally sensitive activities.The GBV Volunteer will contribute to outreach and awareness sessions on GBV prevention, emotional well-being, stress management, community safety, and available support services, while supporting safe identification and referral of protection concerns through approved pathways in coordination with the GBV Team Leader and project staff. The role requires strong communication, facilitation, and community engagement skills, as well as the ability to work ethically, respectfully, and confidentially with women and girls in line with survivor-centred approaches, safeguarding principles, and humanitarian standards in Saida and Jezzine districts.
