Project Assistant

About the Hariri Foundation (HF)
The Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development is a Lebanese non-governmental organization founded in 1979. Member of ECOSOC with special status, it aims to achieve sustainable human development at the regional, national and local levels through investing in the human capital. Through its diverse set of programs, the organization localizes, delivers and mainstreams advanced educational, participatory and developmental models aiming to transform education, promote active citizenship, and build urban resilience.
The Hariri Foundation seeks to strengthen partnerships between the public, private and civic sectors through establishing and supporting sectoral networks and communities of practice. Through international, national, and local partnerships and a diverse set of engagement programs, the organization strives to facilitate evidence-based policy addressing global development transformations and scientific frameworks.

A. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in daily project coordination and implementation.
  • Lead outreach and follow-up with universities, youth networks, and relevant local actors.
  • Support dissemination of calls for applications and participant recruitment materials.
  • Maintain participant databases, onboarding records, and coordination trackers.
  • Coordinate communication and follow-up with selected youth participants across cohorts.
  • Support logistics for trainings, workshops, meetings, dialogue events, and other activities.

     

B. Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in development, administration, communications, social sciences, education, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency, record keeping, reporting, and coordination tools.
  • Experience in organizing workshops, events, and participant-based activities.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple follow-up processes accurately and on time.

D. Deliverables / Expected Outputs

  • Updated participant database and onboarding records.
  • Activity logistics, attendance documentation, and outreach tracking.
