New Learn2Volunteer Mobile App Expands Digital Access to Volunteering and Youth Learning

The Learn2Volunteer Reloaded project has officially launched the Learn2Volunteer mobile application, an innovative digital platform designed to support youth volunteering, digital education, and community engagement across the Mediterranean region.

Funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme under Capacity Building in the Field of Youth (CBY), the project brings together organizations from Greece, Italy, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, and Tunisia with the shared objective of strengthening youth participation in volunteering activities and improving access to learning opportunities for volunteers and youth workers.

The Learn2Volunteer app provides young people with an accessible and interactive learning environment that combines education, mentoring, and practical civic engagement. Available on the Google Play Store, the application offers:

Interactive micro-learning modules (“Nuggets”)

E-mentoring support

Digital badges and certificates

Learning pathways tailored to volunteers’ interests

Access to a GIS map highlighting volunteering initiatives and civic actions

The platform was specifically designed to support young people with fewer opportunities by offering flexible learning experiences that can be accessed anytime and anywhere through smartphones.

The educational content focuses on five main themes:

  • Personal and professional development
  • Communication and language skills
  • Volunteering and social engagement
  • Specialized skills
  • Well-being and mental health

One of the application’s core features is the “Nuggets” section, which delivers short and interactive learning experiences using videos, voice-over explanations, visuals, quizzes, and community-based challenges that encourage youth participation both online and offline.

In addition, the GIS Map feature enables users to search for volunteering projects geographically and learn more about civic initiatives in their communities.

The project was developed in response to identified challenges affecting youth volunteering, including limited access to training, insufficient mentoring opportunities, and the need for more inclusive and innovative learning methods for volunteers and youth workers.

The Learn2Volunteer Reloaded partnership includes:

Solidarity Tracks Greece

ACARBIO Italy

AVEC Tunisia

Gazi University Turkey

Chabibeh Sporting Club Lebanon

Support Youth Leaders (SYL) Jordan

Through this collaboration, the partners aim to promote active citizenship, digital inclusion, and stronger youth engagement across the region.

The Learn2Volunteer mobile application represents an important step toward creating more accessible, inclusive, and impactful volunteering experiences for young people.

Young people interested in developing new skills, accessing volunteering opportunities, and engaging in civic action are encouraged to download the application and begin their volunteering journey.
