  1. BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT

Oxfam is a global movement of people, working together to end the injustice of poverty. Oxfam has been working in Lebanon since 1993. We provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people affected by conflict, and we promote economic justice and good governance, and women’s rights. Oxfam also works with local partners to contribute to the protection and empowerment of marginalized women and men.

 

  1. SPECIFICATION OF GOODS AND SERVICES REQUIRED

Oxfam is seeking a contractor to carry out repair works for the two municipal concrete water storage tanks in Chlifa.

4.METHODOLOGY

Planned timeline

Work should be completed within 5 days.

 

4.TIMEFRAME AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE (remove this section if not required)

100% shall be made upon completion of the work and submission of required documents, within 30 days.

 

 

 

5. EXPERIENCE OR PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

The company/ individual(s) should have the following competencies:

Essential

  1. I.D. card for the person signing on the bid empowered by the power of attorney. 
  2. Copies of original documents that demonstrate their legal establishment, registration, and status.
  3. Work Plan not more than five working days and method of statement
  4. Pictures or details for the chlorine, machines and equipment’s
  5. Supplier should have experience in this domain, minimum one year. Supplier to provide list of customers in the past year.
  6. Financial Folder:
    1. Detailed financial offer for the Bill of Quantities

Oxfam withholds the right to conduct interviews with one or more potential suppliers before an award decision is made. The purpose of the interview is to seek further clarification on the submitted quotations and learn more about the background and previous experiences of the potential suppliers and their teams.

8. CODE OF CONDUCT

These Codes of Conduct set out the specific standards and principles in the areas of human and labour rights, environmental impact and anti-corruption that suppliers must follow.
