Finance Intern - Choueifat

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, and ledgers. 
  2. Support in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions. 
  3. Help with data entry and reconciliation of bank statements and other financial records. 
  4. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. 
  5. Aid in organizing and filing accounting documentation.  
  6. Assist with payroll processing and tax filings. 
  7. Support the Finance team in responding to routine audits and compliance checks. 
  8. Other tasks as assigned by the Finance Team. 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:  

  1. Actively participate in all training sessions as directed by management, including SEA-related training sessions and awareness-raising efforts.  
  2. Provide Training sessions as requested by the Project Manager, Administration Manager, or Executive Manager, based on the employee’s area of work and expertise. 
  3. Uphold the code of conduct, Child Protection Policy, and all RE policies.  
  4. Support for dissemination of PSEA materials.  
  5. Report in good faith all potential allegations of SEA (even if not evidenced) through the Child Protection Focal Point.  
  6. When requested, participate in investigations of possible SEA allegations.  
  7. Coordinate with other staff on the project.  
  8. Other tasks as directed by the Management. 

Education, Experience and Skills  

  1. Pursing a bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience in fields of Accounting, Finance, economics, and/or other relevant fields.
  2. Excellent reporting, communication, interpersonal skills and pro-active negotiation skills.
  3. A high degree of personal initiative with the desire and ability to meet aggressive programmatic goals.
  4. Superior organizational and time management skills. Able to multi-task and work through stringent deadlines while maintaining focus on priorities.
  5. Good verbal and written communication skills, with thorough knowledge of Arabic and English
  6. Availability and willingness to work outside regular office hours occasionally
  7. Teamwork skills  
  8. Good Organizational and Time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads  
  9. the ability to learn quickly  
  10. Flexibility and Adaptability
