Psychologist

The Psychologist provides psychological assessments, counseling, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals across the lifespan. The role supports emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being through individualized care, family involvement when appropriate, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological, developmental, and behavioral assessments using appropriate standardized tools and clinical interviews.

Provide individual and group counseling sessions responsive to patients’ needs and cultural context

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Support early identification and intervention for mental health, emotional, and psychosocial challenges.

Deliver psychoeducation to patients, families, and community members on mental health, coping strategies, and resilience.

Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safeguarding support in accordance with organizational policies.

Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical documentation aligned with ethical standards, donor requirements, and legal regulations.

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and program planning activities.

Contribute to community outreach, mental health promotion, prevention, and awareness initiatives.

Support capacity-building activities, including training and guidance for staff, volunteers, or community partners as needed.
