Scope of Service
The driver service covers the transportation of project staff to and from field sites, partner offices, and community locations as required for project activities. Key functions include safe and punctual driving, vehicle maintenance monitoring, and assistance with minor logistical support such as transporting documents or small project materials.
Limitations:
- The service is limited to official project-related travel.
- The driver is not responsible for non-project personal errands or tasks outside working hours unless specifically authorized.
Key Deliverables
- Safe and timely transportation of project staff to designated locations.
- Reliable adherence to scheduled trips and appointments.
- Proper maintenance and care of the assigned vehicle.
- Support with transportation of project documents, materials, or small equipment as needed.
- Coordination and communication of any travel or logistical issues affecting project activities.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Valid driving license with a clean record.
- Proven experience in safe driving, preferably in both urban and rural areas.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive project materials.
