Senior Maintenance & Technical Services Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Management

  • Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and civil systems.
  • Maintain operational readiness of all facilities.
  • Coordinate with vendors.

Technical Operations

  • Supervise technicians, contractors, and technical service providers.
  • Ensure vendor quality and compliance of maintenance work.
  • Ensure timely troubleshooting, repair, and system restoration.
  • Maintain continuity of critical systems (power, HVAC, water, etc.).

Infrastructure & Performance

  • Monitor system performance and identify operational risks.
  • Implement corrective and improvement actions.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and system performance.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the Security & HSE unit on safety matters.

Emergency & ICS Support

  • Support emergency response operations within the ICS framework.
  • Ensure readiness of critical infrastructure during incidents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related), or Technical Diploma (TS) with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in maintenance or technical operations.
  • Experience supervising technical teams and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a university, hospital, or multi-building institutional campus.
  • Familiarity with CAFM or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of BMS systems and smart building technologies.

Working Conditions:

  • Field and office-based role across campus facilities.
  • On-call availability for emergencies and critical incidents.
  • May require extended working hours based on operational needs.
