A teacher duties and responsibilities may include the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging remote lessons for children aged 3–6 years, fostering active and effective distance learning.
- Develop daily early childhood education lesson plans and learning activities across core subjects, including Languages (Arabic and English/French), Mathematics, and Science.
- Adapt teaching methods, resources, and instructional materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students, using home-based materials and various online teaching modalities.
- Monitor, assess, and report on students' academic progress, development, attendance, engagement, and wellbeing.
- Provide timely feedback and support to students and parents, maintaining regular communication to address learning needs and challenges.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance logs, activity tracking, and learner e-portfolios.
- Participate in parent meetings, teacher training, coaching sessions, and regular collaboration with the Distance Learning Officer to support student success.
Qualifications
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Arabic Literature and/ or Teaching Diploma.
- Previous experience in preschool teaching.
- Ability to work remotely and comply with program guidelines
- Great computer skills and ability to use with ease different programs: office software (Microsoft Word, outlook, Excel), Presentation software (PowerPoint), communication and collaboration tool (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
- Excellent Arabic, French, or English
Working Conditions
A Remote Teacher job requires the candidate to be:
- Present in virtual classrooms (such as WhatsApp groups)
- Working during week days with the flexibility of working during weekends.
- Working with children coming from multi-cultural settings.
