Teacher duties and responsibilities may include the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and adapt remote lessons and learning materials to support student learning, engagement, and retention
- Plan structured online lessons with clear objectives and individualized support strategies
- Monitor student attendance, participation, performance, and wellbeing through remote platforms
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, interventions, and student development
- Contribute to reporting, documentation, and retention monitoring processes
- Participate in virtual meetings with staff, parents, and relevant stakeholders
- Communicating regularly with the Education/Inclusion Officer regarding student progress, attendance, retention risks, and support needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field, and/or a relevant teaching diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching or educational support; experience in remote learning or retention-focused programs is an asset.
- Excellent command of Arabic, French, or English
Working Conditions
A Remote Teacher job requires the candidate to be:
- Present in virtual classrooms (such as WhatsApp groups)
- Working during week days with the flexibility of working during weekends.
- Working with children coming from multi-cultural settings.
