INTRAC is a not-for-profit organisation. Our mission is to strengthen the effectiveness of civil society to challenge poverty and inequality, empowering people to gain control over their own future.
For 25 years our expert consultants, trainers and researchers have been building the skills and knowledge of CSOs and influencing civil society policy and practice.
We are driven by common values and a passion about the role that citizens play to bring about social and economic change, to hold those with power to account, and to meet the needs of poor and marginalised groups.
We strive to achieve our strategic goals by using income generated through advisory services, training and grants. We are always interested to hear from new prospective partners who share our mission and values.
Our international experts have deep linguistic, cultural and social knowledge, allowing us to carry out evaluations, organisational development and training across different countries and regions.
We have a dedicated team focusing on the Middle East and North Africa, and a regional office in Kyrgyzstan providing support across Central Asia and Russia.
We provide high quality, contextualised and practical support to civil society combining a range of methods and approaches. We offer short-term support as well as develop cross-cutting long-term capacity development programmes.
