Fushat Amal invites you this Saturday the 16th at the Tent of the Missing from 11am to 6pm to honour the missing and to pay tribute to the struggle of their families.  The stories of 12 missing people will be exhibited, the families of the missing will also be attending, and there will be volunteers ready to interview people willing to share their stories of a disappeared loved one to add to the Fushat ‘Amal platform. Gathering to demand and defend your right to Know   ACT for the Disappeared, the Committee of the parents of the disappeared and kidnapped in Lebanon and SOLIDE call on all citizens to gather on November 17, at 1:30pm at Mathaf, to demand and defend our right to know the fate of the missing and disappeared.   Why to gather on November 17? 17 November 1982. Following the radio call of Wadad Halwani, whose husband had just been kidnapped, the families and friends of the disappeared persons gathered for the first time to demand the release of their relatives. 17 November 2012, 30 years later...

Act for the disappeared has the pleasure to invite you to an exhibition of artistic work produced by high school students on the issue of the disappeared and missing in Lebanon. This exhibition is part of a project to promote national reconciliation through developing shared experiences on the issue of the disappeared.
