Fondation Albert Nassar

Located at the heart of Bkennaya village in Mount Lebanon, the Albert Nassar Foundation has developed into a full functioning community center. From 2007 until today, the Nassar family started and funded this project with the sole aim of improving the quality of life. Most of the beneficiaries come from low to middle class socio-economic statuses, with a high level of unemployment among women. They are 7 to 77 years old and originate from all over Lebanon, representing its mixture of religions and nationalities. All the free services implemented by the Foundation are tailored to the needs and profile of the community. The services provided by the Foundation are:

- Education by providing a variety of courses, trainings and conferences.

- "Meals of the heart" that are prepared twice a week and sent to people in need.

- Hosting and visiting groups.

- Various leisure activities for children and teens.

- Fully equipped environment to receive people with disabilities.
