Heartbeat - La Chaine De L'espoir

1% of children are born with heart malformation, which is equivalent to 600 cases per year in Lebanon. If not treated, these diseases are the primary cause of death among babies before the age of 1, but if treated, the survival rate exceeds 95%.
Established in 2005 (under permit N° 118/AD issued by decree of the Minister of Interior Affairs, N° 14323), Heartbeat is a Lebanese non-profit non-governmental organization whose mission is to treat children suffering from congenital heart disease.
• The Heartbeat medical team at Hotel-Dieu de France provides a full range of treatment through the highest level of surgical technologies and expertise.

• Heartbeat covers related treatment costs from the moment the child comes under its care until the child returns home. This includes diagnosis, surgery, and recovery.

With the belief that “Music Saves Lives”, Heartbeat doctors and volunteers join forces every year and perform in a unique concert to raise the needed funds for the treatment of children, saving to date more than 4,000 lives.
