As Yemen continues to endure one of the world’s longest-running humanitarian crises, the recent spike in acute watery diarrhoea cases in Ibb and Al-Hodeidah governorates has once again highlighted the fragility of the country’s healthcare system.
On 23 August, a group of people, including children and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) staff were gathered as our teams distributed water in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip, Palestine. Gunfire subsequently erupted, injuring people.

Nevertheless, the organization remains committed to supporting the healthcare system in Yemen and providing healthcare to people in need in various areas.
