Purpose of the role
Engages young people through positive, creative and skills‑building activities that support their wellbeing and participation.
Key responsibilities (summary)
- Design and facilitate youth engagement and positive coping activities (sports‑, arts‑ and life‑skills‑based).
- Encourage youth leadership and meaningful participation in planning and running activities.
- Support monitoring of youth participation, feedback and suggestions.
Profile
- Experience working with youth as facilitator, coach, animator or educator.
- Ability to create safe, respectful and engaging spaces for young people.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility to work during peak youth hours (afternoons/evenings, some weekends).
