About the Position:
1MORECUP is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Media Intern to support our "UNiTE-Diversity: Let's Dig a Little Deeper to End GBV" project. This internship offers a unique opportunity for young individuals to gain hands-on experience in media production and storytelling while contributing to efforts addressing gender-based violence (GBV) and promoting gender equality in Lebanon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of multimedia content, including podcasts, or videos, and/or infographics
- Support the development and implementation of media strategies to raise awareness about GBV and gender equality
- Help in creating engaging visual content for social media platforms
- Assist in organizing and documenting events, interviews, and panel discussions
- Contribute to the editing and post-production of media materials
- Support the team in maintaining a media archive and organizing digital assets
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Media Studies, Digital Media, Journalism, or related field
- Strong interest in gender issues, human rights, and social justice
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
- Familiarity with audio recording and editing for podcast production
- Excellent visual storytelling skills
- Good understanding of social media platforms and content creation best practices
- Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a team environment

This is an unpaid internship/volunteer position, but it offers valuable experience and networking opportunities in the field of gender equality and social justice - Transportation are covered
