Job Purpose

The CP CM Supervisor is responsible to ensure appropriate supervision, support, monitoring and on the job coaching for the Child Protection Case Workers and to ensure quality case management service provision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Child Protection Case Management

  • Ensure supervision and coaching for CP Case Workers working with teenage survivors of GBV and those at risk- beneficiaries at the WGSS;
  • Manage, coach and orient the CP Case Workers;
  • Coordinate the work of case workers in their respective regions and ensure that work is completed according to guidelines and standards;
  • Ensure all Case Management related M&E tools are utilized, information collected, analyzed and actions taken to ensure quality service provision;
  • Supervise and monitor individual and collective action plans/safety plans for beneficiaries developed by Case Workers;
  • Support and provide guidance to case workers on complex cases – as needed;
  • Ensure proper documentation of cases and follow-up processes;
  • Partake in staff meetings and monthly evaluation meetings;
  • Collect, compile and analyze monthly reports from the team and submit to central level;
  • Work closely with the CP PM on all issues related to programs and activities;
  • Participate and ensure participation of case workers in peer-to-peer or other capacity building initiatives implemented at the sector level;
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager and ABAAD Director.

Coordination

  • Organize individual weekly and monthly meetings with CP Case Managers and CP Case Workers
  • Ensure participation in Field level case management coordination meetings
  • Gather feedback at the national and community level and share information with supervisor

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • University Degree (BA) in social work;
  • Minimum Five-years’ experience in similar position;
  • Extensive experience in CP case management
  • Previous NGO experience is a must
  • Experience in CP programming, and demonstrated gender sensitivity;
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure;
  • Leadership, problem solving, and negotiation skills;
  • Strong inter-personal and team working skills including the ability to manage liaise and communicate with team members;
  • Demonstrated capacity to take initiative and pay attention to details;
  • Flexibility, dynamic; initiative-taking;
  • Ability to react to emergency situation and trouble-shoot crisis situation as needed;
  • Ability to plan workloads and demonstrate accountability for outputs;
  • Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English are essential- French is a plus;
