Objectives
- Strengthen the role of steering committee in monitoring and evaluating projects.
- Ensure proper and relevant capacity building program is set in place for the steering committees.
- Ensure lessons learnt and best practices are discoursed and documented.
- Ensure the delivery of all AME activities through effective management of this component
- Develop the TORs and implement capacity building program through coaching sessions to steering committee in the areas of intervention in the process of supporting and monitoring the initiatives’ implementation, including periodic review of achievements against the projects’ objectives.
- Support with the design of specific tools for each of the SSE projects, with basic end-line evaluations and recommendations (if any) for the improvement of these SSE projects.
- Contribute to the development and updating of the M&E frameworks for ongoing projects;
- Organize and conduct field visits with the steering committees to implement the monitoring of each project,
- Support and design with the steering committees’ roundtable discussions with the projects implementing body and holding routine committee meetings.
- Contribute to an effective roll-out of M&E data collection and reporting systems to all steering committees through training, site visits, manuals, and other technical support as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory requirements
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Arabic (speaking/reading/writing),
- Education degree: Bachelor in Economics, social science, or sociology. Preferable to have a Trainer certificate
- Work experience: Experience in NGOs/ On-site training in social or monitoring work; previous experience in indicators and monitoring tools development,
- Knowledge & skills: Familiar with qualitative and quantitative data, Excellent verbal communication and demonstration skills, strong data analysis skills, Excellent planning and organizing skills, strong designing & measuring project performance indicators skills, and team player
- Computer skills: Knowledge of the MS office software (Including Word, Excel, Outlook)
