Key activities in your role will include
Objective 1: To ensure timely and quality implementation of agriculture activities
- To actively engage in the beneficiary and site selection process under the guidance of FSL PM
- To provide support to the FSL PM for the design of the agriculture activities (gardens, school gardens, etc...)
- To provide support to the FSL PM in the design of the trainings to be provided to agriculture program participants
- To conduct agriculture activities in the field under the guidance of FSL PM (input distribution, trainings, set up, maintenance, monitoring, reporting, etc.)
- To support ACF’s implementing partners activities upon the request of the FSL PM
- To conduct site visits, focus group discussions and key informant interviews upon the request of the PM
- To provide verbal and written reports on the activities to the FSL PM as and when needed
Objective 2: To ensure timely implementation and follow up of food security and livelihoods activities
- To actively engage in the identification and assessment of beneficiaries, in line with the assignments given by the PM.
- To actively engage in the identification, and assessment of contracted vendors, in line with the assignments given by the PM.
- To participate in the briefing and induction sessions given to stakeholders
- To participate in the distribution of Food Vouchers, follow up with the beneficiaries, and monitoring of the vendors
- To provide verbal and written reports on the activities to the PM as and when needed
Objective 3: Security
- Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan, see to it that the team under his/her responsibility complies with the security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols.
- Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan
Objective 4: To support other humanitarian activities of ACF upon the request of the PM
- Support the emergency interventions of the organization as per the employee’s abilities.
- Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities.
- Promote gender equality within the humanitarian and/or development work
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
Training/ Education:
BS in Agricultural Sciences
Technical specific knowledge:
Crop Production – FSL activities.
Previous experience:
Experience in crop production under greenhouse conditions. Experience in a humanitarian and development organization, especially in cash-based intervention is desirable.
Humanitarian sector knowledge:
Yes
Action Against the Hunger knowledge:

Languages:
Native Arabic and English compulsory
IT and specific systems:
Good skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and power point

Our remuneration package:
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Salary range from USD1,257 to USD 1,566 gross per month according to the candidate’s previous experience (based on the standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain).
- Salary progression based on the annual development appraisal.
- LBP 8,000 daily transportation allowance on working days
