Data Manager

ACF in South Lebanon is Partner with WFP in providing services for a Food Voucher assistance Project for the Syrian refuges displaced in South Lebanon (areas Tyre, Nabatieh, Marjaayoun, Bint Jbeil and chebaa). The Data Manager has to ensure a correct and timely computerization of all data collected from the field. The Data Manager maintains database by entering, verifying, analyzing and making reports. Specific Duties and Responsabilites : The Data Manager will be responsible for the following activities : Support implementation and monitoring of the data management aspects of the project; Designing and developing data collection and analysis tools and guidelines; Customizing and troubleshooting data management modules; Ensuring adaption of the database according to the project’s needs; Ensure quality of the data entered Data cleaning, analysis and reporting; Produce statistical analysis Prepare regular updates and reports; Arranging files ; Participate in the field team’s training about the data collection on the field; Ensuring confidentiality of the data management; Ensure security of the database and files; Translate data from Arabic into English.   Knowledge and Skills required: BA  in social science, development, Science Computer, statistical studies or any other related field ; At least three years of experience in data management Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)   Good Communication, listening and writting skills ; Capacity to work in team and autonomously; Capacity to work in an multidisciplinary and multicultural team; Dynamism, high level of motivation; Flexibility and availability; Interest for psychosocial work and field work; Very good typing skills; Fluency in English and Arabic.
