Field Officer Supervisor

Acciton Contre el Hambre – Spain, is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated full time field officer supervisor to collaborate in the implementation of humanitarian interventions supporting vulnerable refugee (and also local) communities.   Assignment: The Field Officer Supervisor will work directly with refugee communities and direct beneficiaries. The field officer will work in close relationship with other field officers, the monitoring and evaluation officer and field supervisor to ensure good quality of works   Minimum skills required Adequate level of understanding of participatory approaches, good social skills, good skills in listening and reporting, good organizational skills are required. Good computer skills in excel, word and outlook.   General skills required: Adaptation capacity and flexibility in an unpredictable context. Empathetic and patient, good team spirit and ability to work in a team or independently according to the situation. Good knowledge of the area and local customs is strongly requested.   Language skills Fluency in Arabic and English required.   Other Able to work and travel in Lebanon without exclusion. Due to the specific context and the sensitiveness of the topics, females are especially encouraged to apply.   Main tasks: -          Supporting the organization of e-card distribution and distributing e-cards -          Organizing other distributions upon request. -          Supervising field officers on a daily basis. -          Organizing focus group discussions and surveys with target population and other stakeholders. -          Monitoring and evaluation of program related activities. -          Reporting to Project Manager on a regular basis on the activities and changes in the context. -          Active participation in food security and livelihoods assessments. -          Participation in other assessments upon request. -          Close coordination with other project staff.   Due to the emergency context, the field officer can be requested to participate to any other food security and cash based interventions identified according to the humanitarian needs.
