Field Officer-Wfp

Acciton Contre el Hambre – Spain, is looking for an enthusiastic and high motivated full time field officer to collaborate in the implementation of humanitarian projects supporting the vulnerable refugee (and also local) communities.   Assignment: The Field Officer will work directly with refugee communities and direct beneficiaries. The field officer will work in close relationship with other field officers, the monitoring and evaluation officer and field supervisor to ensure good quality of works.   Minimum skills required Adequate level of understanding of participatory approaches, good social skills, good skills in listening and reporting, good organizational skills are required. Good computer skills in excel, word and outlook.   General skills required: Adaptation capacity and flexibility in an unpredictable context. Empathetic and patient, good team spirit and ability to work in a team or independently according to the situation. Good knowledge of the area and local customs is strongly requested.   Language skills Fluency in Arabic required. Fluency in English strongly desired.   Other Able to work and travel in Lebanon without exclusion. Due to the specific context and the sensitiveness of the topics, females are especially encouraged to apply.   Main tasks: -          Distribution of e-cards and other items upon request and supporting the organization of distributions -          Distribution of other relief items upon request. -          Organize focus group discussions and surveys with target population. -          Monitoring and evaluation of program related activities. -          Reporting to Field Supervisor on a regular basis on the activities and changes in the context. -          Closely coordinate with other project staff.   Due to the emergency context, the field officer can be requested to participate to any intervention of ACF identified according to the humanitarian needs.
