GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Under the supervision of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Supervisor, the Monitoring and Evaluation (MEAL) Field Officer will: Support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Unit in Action Against Hunger’s Bekaa Base in Lebanon.  Carry out field data gathering at different levels (household, informal tented settlement, municipality) to support the continuous Action Against Hunger MEAL covering different sectors (Vulnerability Verification; Food Security and Livelihoods; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene). Conduct ad hoc assessment interviews at different levels according to the request from the direct supervisor and following new arrival trends and program impact assessment needs. Conduct focus groups discussions and any other studies, assessments and data gathering efforts as per request of Action Against Hunger staff. Support data entry and reporting efforts if needed, and contribute to the overall implementation of assessment, monitoring and evaluation activities.  Support data analysis and quality checking needs that may arise.
