Responsibilities: Participate to identification of implementing sites (Primary Health Center). Support and monitor the implementation of nutrition and psychosocial activities provided to beneficiaries of  nutrition centre for the treatment of acute malnutrition in coordination and support the implementation of psychosocial activities provided to beneficiaries Participate to the data collection and to their analysis Specific objectives and tasks : Objective 1 :To support the identification of implementing sites to establish treatment of acute malnutrition In coordination with the CMAM Field supervisor: - Run PHC assessment (identification of needs and gaps) - Identify PHC staff training needs - Identify stakeholder working in the same area Objective 2 : Support the coordination of activities ran at community level Ensure that the outreach team is running appropriately screening through supervision visit Ensure that a referral system is well establish for children detected with acute malnutrition Ensure that the outreach team is visiting the absent and defaulters of the nutrition program Objective 3 : Ensure the smooth and proper running of routine programme activities  Supervise and assist in the routine management and running of the different components of the programme Set up nutrition awareness activities at PHC level as breastfeeding counselling. Ensure that the essential monitoring mechanisms are in place. Ensure that performance indicators in nutrition are properly measured. Support ACF psychologist for the implementation of the MHCP minimum package in nutrition centers Participate in the training of the PHC staff by assisting in the set-up training programme for health staff, in the monitoring of trainings for health staff and by assisting health staff in setting-up and opening the nutrition centers Objective 4 : Assist in management aspects of the programme Ensure that the nutrition programme consumable commodities including rations, therapeutic nutritional treatment, drugs and equipment are well managed. This will also include together with the PHC and ACF team to maintain applicable procedures for quality storage, final preparation (Premix, etc.) and eventual utilization by beneficiaries. Assist timely order, procurement and supply of essential commodities and supplies for the nutrition programme ( orders, transportation, and storage may be weekly, monthly or quarterly as agreed at the base level) Assist in the identification of gaps in programme management and training needs to be met. Objective 5 : Reporting Participate to creation/revision of project tools Realize a weekly and monthly report Provide a weekly planning for the whole CMAM team Participate to external reports if needed Assist in the maintenance of regular liaison, collaboration and coordination with the partner organization at field level. Assist in the maintenance and functioning of  a proper coordination and referral system with MoPH and other NGOs working in the area ( referral of SAM and other medical treatment of all beneficiaries of the nutrition programme) Assist in the constant M&E of the programme components Collect, register and analyze data to assist in the preparation of donor, monthly and situational programmatic reports as requested by the country office, HQ or funding agency. Due to the nature of ACF work, the field officer can be requested to work on others objectives and task, in the extent of their position and background.   Required skills: Sense of confidentiality – Skilled activity leader - Good listening, good communication and adaptation capacity – Good relations with people – Have good empathy and be patient- Speak and write Arabic, fluent English (writing and speaking) highly appreciate. Have a minimum knowledge on treatment of acute malnutrition, infant and young child care practices, including feeding and have the capacity and motivation to learn more in a short space of time.
