MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Under the supervision of the  Livelihoods Field Supervisor, the Livelihoods Field Officer will be responsible of daily implementation of Food Security and Livelihoods activities in Baalbek Hermel area and Aarsal area (with potentially spreading to other parts of Bekaa). The officer will be tasked to implement the weekly plans in a quality manner and to report problems encountered during the implementation to the Supervisor. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Bachelor degree in social sciences, international relations, economic or any similar diploma Knowledge  in food security, livelihoods, agriculture desired One year experience working in humanitarian action or development prefered Experience in livelihoods programs is a plus Good team worker, good listener, high communication skills Good skills using MS Word, Excel, Outlook and smartphones DETAILED OBJECTIVES AND TASKS Objective 1 : To ensure timely and qualitative implementation of food security and livelihoods activities Actively engage in the beneficiary selection process under the guidance of the Supervisor *** Provide support to the Supervisor for the design of the livelihoods activities *** To provide support to the Supervisor and Head of Project in the design of the trainings to be provided to livelihoods program participants *** To conduct livelihoods activities in the field under the guidance of the supervisor (input distribution, trainings, set up, maintenance, monitoring, reporting...) *** To conduct household visits, focus group discussions and key informant interviews upon the request of supervisors *** To provide written and verbal reports to the Field Supervisor at the agreed frequency. Objective 2 : To ensure timely distribution and follow up of food secuity and livelihoods items To distribute food security and livelihoods program materials in line with the assignmetns given by the supervisor *** To provide verbal and written reports on the activties to the supervisor at the agreed frequency. Objective 3 : To support other humanitarian activities of ACF upon the request of the HoP To support the emergency interventions of ACF upon the request of HoP *** To support ACF assessment and monitoring activities of ACF upon the request of HoP *** To attend meetings with local municipalities, farmers's cooperatives, benefiairies and  non-beneficiaries upon the request of the HoP. Objective 4 : Security Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols ** Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or non-compliance with the security plan. Objective 5: Others Respect ACF Charter and Internal rules *** Be committed to participate to any other work assigned by your line manager in order to achieve the project goals *** Support emergency interventions, as per the employee's capacities ** Support any activity that helps achieving ACF humanitarian goals, as per the employee's capacities.
