Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for Action Against Hunger in more than forty-six countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation.
Objective 1: To manage recruitment tasks under supervision of HR coordinator
Tasks:
- To assist line manager with recruitment request form if needed.
- To prepare job description in coordination with line managers and HR coordinator.
- To prepare vacancy announcement and post it on the different work sites
- Download applicants’ CV’s from the different work sites
- To manage long list and short list regarding applicants of each post in coordination with line managers and HR coordinator.
- To follow up technical test with line manager and lead the whole process.
- To arrange for whole interview schedules according to AAH interviews protocol.
- To conduct first HR interviews
- To prepare job offer under selection step.
- To send rejection emails for non-selected candidates.
Objective 2: In charge of performance development performance documentation
Tasks:
- To classify the Job Descriptions
- To make sure that the Follow Up and HRIS are up to date for new employee and exit
- To transform the old JD into the new form
- To classify the different candidate’s documents: CV’s, Technical test’s, Interview’s form
- To follow on appraisal accomplishment and training centralization
Objective 3: Participation on Onboarding Processes
- Welcoming new employees for Beirut Office
- Following on the Employee Trial period
- Following on Employee’s training accomplishment on Virtual Campus
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Training: Degree in Business Management or any relevant field,
- Technical specific knowledge: Recruitment technical knowledge and tools such as organization charts, performance appraisal, job descriptions, staff training and development
- Previous experience (years): 1 year in human resources management
- Humanitarian sector knowledge: Is a plus
- Languages: Arabic and English
- IT systems: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, web applications, HRIS
- Mobility (national/ international)
REMUNERATIVE PACKAGE
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Based in: Beirut
- Area: Human Resources
- Formal work contract: 12 months starting mid March 2018 (ideally)
- Salary: from 2,180,000 LBP to 2,580,000 LBP gross per month according to candidate’s previous experience (according to standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain). Action Against Hunger - Spain remuneration system allows a salary progression based on the annual development appraisal.

- LBP 8,000 daily transportation allowance on working days
