Team Leaders

1.         Team Leader Skills and required abilities: To be able to read, write and count; know the area to survey; be reliable and friendly. Tasks: ü  Manage the team of surveyors. ü  Ensures all forms, questionnaires and equipment are ready at start of the day. ü  Calibrates measurement instruments on daily basis. ü  Take responsibility for the recognition of the cluster and selection of households.  ü  Complete questionnaires. ü  Monitor the anthropometric and other measures taken (weight, height, mid-upper arm circumference, oedema) on the children surveyed. ü  Assess the nutritional status of children measured and refer cases of malnutrition. ü  Ensure the quality of data collected by his team. ü  Ensures that all the equipment is maintained in a good state. ü  At the end of data collection in each cluster (questionnaires completed and verified), prepares the filled questionnaires for data entry (put them in a folder or other device that will be identified in the material list) before starting the work in the next cluster. ü  Report any problems to the survey manager. Writes a report of activities at the end of each cluster SCHEDULE AND DAYS OF WORK: candidates are required to be available during a period of approximately 3 weeks (around 15 working days) from August 29th. A 5 days training will be held in Bekaa; while the field work -data collection- will take place all around Lebanon (travelling and sleeping out of home required). Because of the limited duration of the survey, their function and responsibilities, candidates are asked for flexibility in terms of hours and days (working Saturdays and/or Sundays when needed)
