Wash Field Officer

Assignment: Evaluate  material needs, give technical supervision for construction and plumbing work, reporting weekly activity, managing construction work with other team members. Identify sanitation needs ,Support in all other wash activities implemented by ACF. Required skills : Initiative, availability/learning capacity – Ability to work in a team, interpersonal qualities and diplomacy –organised and rigorous – flexible with respect to job priority – Agrees with the principles and objectives of ACF. Objective 1 : Monitoring of water trucking and water quality. Activities : -          Monitoring installation of water tanks at different sites for distribution. -          Monitoring water trucking delivery (volume, quantity and system of delivering), working closely with the local partner. -          Monitoring water quality (chemical and bacteriological) at different water points (water tanks, wells, city system, household, etc) -          Monitoring water chlorination working closely with the local partner. -          informing and documenting the anomalies and the repairs carried out in the water systems and material necessary for the programme's activities.   Objective 2: Monitoring of Hygiene Kits, water filters and water disinfection tablets distribution. Activities : -          Monitoring NFI distribution working closely with the local partner. -          Collecting of beneficiaries list from local partner after distributions. -          Informing and documenting the anomalies happened during distributions, and possible improvement necessary for the activities. Objective 3: Data collection and sensitisation campaign. Activities : -          Ensuring understanding and needs of the communities on water and sanitation needs and uses, and coordination with the local partner and water team on best implentation  -           Data collection regarding the project and the potentilas beneficiaries. -          Conduct of social mobilization abd sensitization.   -          Regular reporting to Head  of Project Assistant -          Data recording and checking Objective 4: Others Activities -          Respect of ACF Charter and internal rule -          Be committed to participate to any other work in order to achieved the project goal -          This job description is not exhaustive and may be changed or       amended by the Head of Project when necessary, according to the base needs.
