Responsibilities

For Students

Introduce basic financial concepts such as income, expenses, savings, budgeting, and debt.

Develop students’ ability to create and track a simple personal budget.

Explain short-term and long-term saving strategies.

Explore different ways to earn money (allowances, chores, small jobs, etc.).

Distinguish between needs and wants to support informed decision-making.

Introduce the concept of investment and financial growth over time in a simplified manner.

Promote the importance of financial security and future planning.

For Parents

Provide practical tools and strategies to teach financial literacy at home.

Build parents’ confidence in discussing money matters with their children.

Introduce key family financial planning topics such as budgeting, saving for education, and managing household finances.

Help parents identify reliable financial education resources.

Strengthen parents’ financial knowledge and leadership within the family.

For Families (Joint Activities)

Facilitate interactive family sessions to encourage collaborative financial planning.

Promote open communication about money management within the household.

Lead joint projects that apply financial concepts in practical, family-based settings.

General Responsibilities

Uphold ADRA’s humanitarian principles of neutrality, impartiality, and non-discrimination.

Maintain a professional, ethical, and collaborative team environment.

Report challenges, achievements, and incidents promptly to the supervisor.

Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and commitment to high-quality work.

Prioritize safety and security in all field activities and immediately report any incidents to the designated focal point.

Be proactive, solution-oriented, and supportive of ADRA’s values and mission.
