 Responsibilities:

  • Organize and conduct training and workshops on livelihood subjects, including but not limited to: food processing, milk processing and business management.
  • Conduct field surveys - the trainer will conduct field surveys to measure the food consumption scores of the targeted families.
  • Conduct frequent monitoring and follow-up activities with every beneficiary to monitor each beneficiary’s performance, watching the progress of work and its status, what are the challenges faced and how to mitigate it.
  • Provide training on financial procedures, bookkeeping, leadership and management to women benefiting from food processing.
  • Provide job and employment coaching and mentoring support to individuals and in a group format;
  • Preparation of TORs & training manuals/materials
  • Gather evaluation material of pre-post surveys and feedback from participants and review results to maximize effectiveness;
  • Identify key areas of focus for soft & life skills and livelihoods training and coaching through in-depth reviews based on training outcomes and desk review;
  • Draft training reports covering all training sides and results from the training up to coaching, including lessons learned, gaps, opportunities, and suggested amendments;
  • Provide support in conducting livelihoods (job and employment) information awareness-raising sessions in the targeted communities;
  • Provide support in needs assessment surveys for future livelihoods programming;
  • Prepare narrative and other project-related reports for submission to Project Manager
  • Perform other relevant duties, as needed or requested.
  • Provide the trainees with relevant material related to the topic of the training, so that they can practice.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working as a trainer/coach particularly in the Livelihood Sector
  • Ability to engage with community members in an open manner, maintain confidentiality and respect
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Strong diplomatic skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, listening, and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills Verbal and written Arabic and English.

Preferred:

  • Diploma in a related field
  • INGO or NGO experience
  • Experience working with refugee population
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports in English
  • Computer Literacy
