Music Teacher - STAND II

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  Design and deliver a creative and age-appropriate music

curriculum for students aged 11-14.
 Develop lesson plans that incorporate singing, music theory,
basic instrumentation, and music appreciation.
 Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all
students feel comfortable participating.
 Provide opportunities for students to explore different musical
styles and genres.
 Encourage teamwork and collaboration among students.

 Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as
needed.
 Plan and lead engaging performances or presentations
showcasing student learning at the end of the program.
 Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
 Collaborate effectively with other summer school staff.
