- Student Support: Provide tailored individual and group support to address students' academic needs, focusing on areas for improvement to help them meet grade-level and examination standards.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Design, administer, and grade assessments to monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Resource Development: Create and utilize engaging educational materials and resources, incorporating technology to enhance learning and align with curriculum standards.
- Classroom Management: Foster an organized and supportive learning environment, upholding discipline and actively engaging students for a productive classroom experience.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow educators to share best practices, enrich the overall learning experience, and support a comprehensive educational approach.
- Parent-Teacher Communication: Maintain regular, open communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Professional Development: Attend educator meetings, participate in Teacher Learning Circles, and develop supplemental materials during workshops. Coordinate with the ADRA Education Team to maintain a high-quality learning environment.
- Instructional Delivery: Teach and support students according to their educational needs and individual abilities, aiming to help each student reach their full potential.
- Parental Engagement: Encourage parental involvement through positive communication with parents and the Parents Community Group (PCG).
- Resource Stewardship: Utilize and safeguard educational materials, books, and other resources provided by ADRA.
- Supervision: Supervise students during arrival, departure, and between sessions to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Protection Mainstreaming: Integrate protection principles into daily program implementation, following ADRA's Protection Mainstreaming Guidelines and reporting any concerns to the line manager.
- Classroom Support: Assist the lead teacher in preparing the classroom and materials for activities, and help supervise students during various activities, including playtime and mealtime.
- Literacy Support: Read to students and assist them in developing their reading and writing skills.
