Hairdressing Trainer

Background: Akkar Network for Development (AND) has been working in Akkar for the last years with women, youth and local authorities to promote the well-being of the community. In addition to other interventions in the area, AND is currently working on combating violence against women and children, women and youth empowerment e,g. vocational training… In partnership with Heartland Alliance, AND has launched a safe women space that provides holistic services focusing on psychosocial support, violence prevention, livelihoods strengthening and social cohesion to diverse vulnerable populations affected by the Syrian refugee crisis, including women and girls, and survivors of Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), torture and trauma. Areas of Responsibility: Hairdressing Trainer The main task to be completed by the consultant shall be: -  Providing Hairdressing courses to a group of 20 to 30 women in selected areas in Akkar. A Hairdressing training cycle shall comprise three months of classes, twice a week,  for 3 hours per day. Training locations:  Akkar Deliverables The consultant shall be responsible for the following deliverables. Training Cycle Program Training Curriculum   Tools and materials training list Final Appraisal at the end of the training cycle.
