Outreach Trainer

AND is looking for an outreach trainer to consolidate its outreach strategy, and work with the community mobilizer(s) outreach worker(s) and field worker(s) to ensure that proper outreach to the targeted communities is concluded in a comprehensive manner. This includes establishing and maintaining effective relationships with the whole team, providing workshops/ trainings, on the field shadowing, along with monitoring and contributing to successful projects administration.

Primary responsibilities will be to organize and carry out outreach capacity building activities in a timely, efficient and collaborative manner. This includes, in addition to the above mentioned tasks, the creation of needed forms, along with developing outreach guidance notes and streamlining protection within AND’s overall outreach strategy.

The main task to be completed by the consultant includes but are not limited to:

• Provision of a clear outreach strategy inclusive of all AND’s services.
• Development of a Proper guidance note to be delivered to the filed team on conducting outreach activities.
• Provision of a practical and a user-friendly method to enable the field team to address challenges encountered in the field and resource mobilization approaches.
• Provision of one on one support to the outreach field team members in conducting outreach activities
•  Development of outreach forms including client satisfaction surveys, service mapping, fact sheets, protection audit
• Adhere to Akkar’ Network for Development-AND- Code of conduct and other policies with regards to confidentiality and do no harm.

Qualifications & Experience:        

• Guaranteed deep understanding of the targeted communities to induce protection risk analysis and mapping of resources in a gender sensitive manner.
• Master’s Degree in social sciences or any related field.
• Knowledge in community outreach, advocacy, training and communication with underserved communities
• Great communication skills
• Creative mind 
• 5 years’ experience or more is a plus
