Akkar Network for Development (AND) has been working in Akkar for the 6 last years with women, youth and local authorities to promote the well-being of the community. AND's women safe spaces provide holistic services focusing on psychosocial support, violence prevention, women empowerment and social cohesion to diverse vulnerable populations whether affected by the syrian crisis or not, including women and girls, and survivors of Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), torture and trauma.
Areas of Responsibility: Vocational training (sewing and needle work trainer )
The main task to be completed by the consultant shall be:
- Providing vocational training workshop on sewing and needle work trainer to a group of 20 to 30 women in selected areas in Akkar. A training cycle shall comprise three consecutive days of vocational training, for 3 hours per day.
Deliverables
The consultant shall be responsible for the following deliverables.
Training Cycle Program, and calendar of training sessions
A comprehensive list of all needed items (equipment and material) for each training cycle.
Training Curriculum
Final report
Learnings shall be provided over a 10 hours workshop over 3 days period.
Location: 1 workshop in Minyara, 1 workshop in Mechmech
Total 2 workshops/ 20 hours
