In addition to other interventions in the area, AND is currently working on combating violence against women and children, women and youth empowerment e,g. vocational training…
In partnership with Heartland Alliance, AND has launched a safe women space that provides holistic services focusing on psychosocial support, violence prevention, livelihoods strengthening and social cohesion to diverse vulnerable populations affected by the Syrian refugee crisis, including women and girls, and survivors of Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), torture and trauma.
Areas of Responsibility: Vocational training (Vales Embordiery and Decoration)
The main task to be completed by the consultant shall be:
- Providing vocational training workshops on Vales Embroidery and Decoration to a group of 20 to 30 women in selected areas in Akkar. A training cycle shall comprise three months of vocational training, twice a week, for 3 hours per day.
