Videographer

This protection intervention includes an advocacy component around reducing/mitigation risks of child labour. Within this component AND is seeking the expertise of a Videographer/ Film maker to capture the energies invested in this campaign in the form of a short video to showcase the current situation, and related activities.

Summary: Consultant- Videographer/Film maker will be required to:

• Allocate the needed amount in the field to capture all activities to be reflected in the movie and produce a short film screened locally reflecting potential risk mitigation of child labor.
• Assemble recorded footage taken by him/her into a finished project with English subtitles, in addition to 5 high quality photographs. The final products should be suitable for broadcasting on either mainstream, or social media.

Areas of Responsibility:

The main task to be completed by the consultant shall be:

• Identify and develop the video’s brief, synopsis, structure and scenario. 
• Ensure the availability of cameras, computers and/or any other equipment and materials needed during the process of recording and preparing the video. 
• Conduct needed field visits to ensure proper coverage of the activities in question.
• Narrate, edit and produce a high-quality version of the short film with adequate background music in finest and high-quality video formats.
• Produce 5 high quality photographs to be used for posters or flyers (if needed)
• Provide, in addition to the soft version, a high-quality hard copy (DVD) of the final, approved version of the video and photos.
• Adhere to Akkar’ Network for Development-AND- Code of conduct and other policies with regards to confidentiality and do no harm.

Qualifications & Experience:    

• Proven working experience in movie making 
• Master’s Degree in Film making.
•  Solid experience with digital ‘technology and editing software packages  
• Creative mind 
• 5 years’ experience or more is a plus
