Gynecologist

Main responsibilities:

• Provide health care related to gynecology and obstetrics to patients, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.

• Carry out the collection of quantitative gynecological data and ensure exhaustive use of management tools in order to improve gynecological results and to share knowledge among other field specialists.

• Supervise the maintenance and running of the gynecological equipment and drug consumption

Specific Responsibilities:

• Perform routine ultrasounds in Tripoli PHCs.

• Diagnose anomalies of pregnancy and advise therapeutic plan or referral.

• Recommend follow-up of complicated cases

• Document findings in medical records.

• Participate in capacity-building through theoretical and hands-on trainings, and support midwives to extend their skill set.

Education

• Degree in Gynecology from a recognized university.

• Ministry of public health practice license as doctor in Lebanon.

• Certificate of registration at the Lebanese order of physicians (as a specialist).

Experience

• At least 2 years of certified work experience
