Protection Curriculum Building Specialist

The purposes of this contract are as follows:

• To support, in complementarity with other ongoing initiatives, the strengthening of the Protection system and capacities of the protection authorities at federal and state levels to better deliver and regulate protection services.
• To facilitate policy dialogue among protection authorities and actors in view of harmonization and quality delivery of services.
• To help pave way for potential protection sector budget support.
• To enhance accountability framework including through adequate resource tracking and impact monitoring; and communication thereof to relevant stakeholders.

The expected results are as follows:

• Result 1: Build a protection curriculum for youth and adults (Csp,Gbv,Pss…).
• Result 2: Strengthened delivery of the new curriculum framework, and compatibility across with improved outcomes.
• Result 3: Quality assurance and standards system strengthened leading to improved quality of protection services.
• Result 4: Improved protection assessments, tools ,and materials to be furthure used for protection training programs.

Qualifications and skills :

• At least a Master's level degree 
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• A minimum of 7 years' subject-related work experience, Specific professional experience.

• At least 4 years' experience in implementing curriculum or other system wide protection reform programmes.
• At least 5 years' experience working in NGO’s with focus on protection curriculum development.
• Knowledge of competency-based curriculum design, development and implementation would be an asset.
• Relevant experience in developing protection materials and methods will be considered an asset.
