Aktis Strategy is a fast-growing international development consultancy operating in countries affected by conflict. We support government clients and donor agencies design, implement and evaluate programmes to address the complex causes and consequences of conflict. Our clients include the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Dutch Ministry of Development Cooperation, Canada, Denmark, the European Union and United Nations agencies.
Established in 2013, we are now a team of over 100 staff based in our UK headquarters and regional offices in the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and Eastern Europe. Our team is led by experts who specialise in six thematic areas: Behavioural Communications; Governance, Security and Justice; Conflict Management and Peacebuilding; Counter Extremism; Research, Monitoring and Evaluation; and Cross-Border Challenges (such as migration and slavery).
We aim to create a nurturing and inclusive culture and to operate with a high degree of local ownership and collaboration. Our projects prioritise fairness, equality, gender sensitivity and sustainability.
