Major Responsibilities:
- Create positive learning environment
- Organize and deliver courses
- Teach according to the curriculum, achievements and the abilities of individual students.
- Assign, work, correct and mark work carried out by students
- Maintain classroom organization and discipline.
- Go to week after week staff gatherings to address special circumstances or issues with individual students
- Prepare classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts
- Participate in ongoing training sessions
- Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Perform any other related tasks
Job Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Any related university degree. Teaching Diploma is a plus
Professional Experience
- One to two years’ experience in a relevant field.
Experience working with refugees and other vulnerable groups
Skills
- Spoken and written fluency in English, Arabic and French.
- Good writing skills.
- Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
Others
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail.
- Knowledge of contextual diversity of various areas of Tripoli, Lebanon.
